This two-day in-person workshop explores the innovations in artificial intelligence (AI), specifically generative-AI (GenAI), in educational applications, and discusses the related ethical implications of responsible-AI (RAI).
Day 1. Cognitive and learning science principles for improving genAI-based learning frameworks and tutoring systems.
Day 2. Responsible AI (RAI; e.g., Fairness, Accountability, Interpretability, and Transparency) for consequential decision-making in education (e.g. admissions, early warning systems, grading).
